Weekly Obsessions

Here is my first annual Week-end Weekly Obsessions!  I'm really excited to kick this off!  Now I am having sort of a dilemma.  I really would like to include only my photos, but that is a really hard thing to do with 8ish photos a week (that sounds really wimpy, but it is a lot of work!)  Some of the photos on here will be mine, but I really don't want to put up any of my mediocre photos!  I'll give it a shot, and make sure to source everything for y'all!  Here are some of the biggest things that I am obsessed with!

1. Cheez-its.  I haven't had the little cheesy wonderful squares in so long, like, 4th grade!  I opened a pack before rehearsal and fell in love again!  They are so practical for my after school rehearsals followed immediately by another one!

2. My orange Camelbak water-bottle.  I call it my bite-and-suck because of the motion you do with your mouth to get the water out.  Whenever I fill my bottle up with any type of liquid I drink SO MUCH MORE!  It is the PERFECT motivation for me to drink more water.

3. Sims 3.  I have an addiction.  It is Sims 3.  It is actually really sad how much I play it, but I love to have my friends over and make little families.

4. Knit hats.  My mom has started knitting, or crocheting, or whatever the heck she does with those two needles and has made a few hats and scarves!  I am so excited for her to make me more hats!  She made me a really cool brown one and I LOVE IT!  Thanks, Mom!

5. My (m)UGGS.  I have man-UGG slippers and they are so soft and comfortable.  I now understand why girls spend hundreds of dollars on these shoes.

6. New 5 Watermelon Gum.  Oh. My. Gosh.  It is so good.  I love the taste, and the smell is so good!  The only downfall to this deliciously flavored fum, is the fact that it only lasts about 10-15 minutes.

Well this was quite a horrible start to a Weekly Obsessions, but I have a question for you, readers!  Actually two.... Do you want me to source my photos if I don't take them myself?  Also, can someone pretty please teach me how to set a time for my blog posts to air?  Like, if I write 3 in a day, but want them to automatically go online one per day?

Well, I hope you guys can answer my questions!  Until tomorrow!

Jack

2 New Segments and a request

Hey Bloggies!

I feel so bad!  I haven't posted in FOREVER!  But I have 2, yes 2 exciting new things to share with you!  Isn't this great *cue groans from audience*

So first of all, I am starting two new "segments" on my blog!  One of them is going to happen twice a week, and the other one will happen once a week!  In an ideal world, Segment 1 will happen on Monday and Thursdays and Segment 2 will happen on one of the weekend days, but I don't really know how that is going to work out!  Down below I am going to share with you the details of my new segments and I would really appreciate some feedback on what you thing of this!
Segment number one, the one that popped right up into my head, will be twice a week, and the post will contain 2 weird words and/or phobias.  Now the weird words will be picked from a few different sources that I have, but the phobias will be taken from either MMP (Mari's Morning Phobias) which is done via twitter by my friend Mari, or from a few sites I have found via Google.
Segment two I copied almost exactly what Lucy did I got from Lucy.  It is a Weekly Obsessions post where I am going to post 6 or 8 weekly obsessions, or little things in my life at the moment that I cannot get ENOUGH of!
I really hope that I can do this!  I really would like to get back in the habit of blogging more, and I really think that these two segments will help keep me motivated.  I have another request for my readers.  Actually, a couple.  They are as follows:

1) please please please please "follow" my blog!  You can do it via an email, blogger, facebook or twitter!  When I only have a few followers, it is very sad blogging because I am worried that no one is even reading these!
2) COMMENT!  Even a comment saying "that sounds kind of stupid how you got joy out of that" or, "nice pictures, Jack" mean so much to me.
3) Tell your friends about my blog!  I would really like to get more followers.  And the one way that I can do this is by word of mouth!  That means you guys.
4) Lastly, tell me face-to-face, text, facebook chat, skype, phone call, ANYWAY that you are reading and/or enjoying my blog!

Look for a Weekly Obsessions post tomorrow or Sunday!

Photo Entry: On Cloud Nine!

So before I post my Billy Elliott Review, I am going to post my entry in a photo contest, from Pastor Girl's Ponderings.  I am very excited to share this photo with you, and she will very likely be featured in an upcoming issue of my Monday Featured Blog because I love her blog and her contests!

So here is my entry:

I chose this one because it means a lot to me.  It also tells a significant amount of information about who I am.  This was taken in Venice, Italy, by your truly.  On a very basic level it shows how much I love the place where it was shot in.  But it also means a lot to me because of the fact that when you look at it, you see the simple life of the Venetians.  It shows how they live everyday life being green.  Now don't get my wrong, I am not all gunge ho, LETS GO GREEN, SAVE THE PLANET!  I think it important to use less energy but you can really see the wonderful simplistic design in the way that they live their life.  Lastly, it reminds me of Christmas, because our trip to Italy was a Christmas present that we got two years ago.

Sp please check out Carlotta's blog!  And check out all of the other entries too!

Quick Post

So as I'm getting ready to go to Billy Elliott I took a little break and I checked out a few blogs! So many blogs out there have photo contests! I really would just LOVE to do one sometime, but I am just not sure which ones are legit, cool, fun, and competitive photo "competitions". I would love it if you, bloggies, could formspring, email, or comment down below your favorite photo competitions! It would be an awesome thing to do to help me get my work out there! Thanks in advanced for the help!

Plans for the Future a.k.a. Tomorrow

So tomorrow I get to use one of my Birthday presents and go see Billy Elliott playing live at the Orpheum.  I am so excited you can't even put it into words!  I know everything about the musical, inside and out, pretty much nothing about the musical, but I am so phsyched to see it!  What I know it that there is a young boy who wants to be a ballet sancer, but his father wants him to work in the coal mines?  Does that sound right?  I think that that is all I know, but I am so happy!  I am going with my mom, and my friend Adam.

Here are some photos of the show!

Tomorrow (most likely Wednesday) I will give you my review and reccomend a couple of songs for you, does that sound good?
On a side note, please do me a favor, will you?  Take my blog button and tag it in a post, or put it on your side bar!  I am going to start something where weekly I am going to take another blogger's button on a Monday!  It will be a little something at the end of my post explaining why I love their blog!

I really love Defying Reality by Lucy Scherschligt!  It is a great blog by a local (at least to me) and she has inspired in in many ways.  She has a very well written blog with wonderful photos and catchy, intriguing choices in her weekly ways.  She is great at what she does, but to be honest, she really does not post enough!  I engourage you to comment on my blog or hers what you really think of her!  She is a great supporter of my blog (sometimes I think she is the only one who reads it,) and it really means a lot to me!  Thanks, Lucy!

Jack
